TAT encourages tourists to welcome the new year with “Amazing Thailand Countdown 2023,” which raises the Dawn of Faith and pushes money to flow to more than 1,500 million baht by the end of the year.


The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) aims to bring happiness and hope to the hearts of Thai people, welcoming the new year with the “Amazing Thailand Countdown 2023” activity under the concept “Dawn of Faith New Year’s Eve, Welcome New Year 2023” at Tha Wat Pho, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. This is like giving a gift of gratitude to tourism companies and all Thai people who have been instrumental
in “Reviving” the economy and “Transforming” Thai tourism with Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, presiding over the ceremony.
The highlight of the event will be a spectacular fireworks display along the banks of
the Chao Phraya River for more than 5 minutes in front of important landmarks, “Phra Prang of Wat Arun Ratchawararam Woramahawihan” with singing to fill the atmosphere with songs by many famous artists. It is expected that at least 1,500 million baht will be spent in the Bangkok area.

Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of TAT, stated that TAT has scheduled the Amazing Thailand Countdown 2023 at Wat Pho Pier, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok on December 31, 2022 under the Concept of “Dawn of Faith New Year’s Eve Welcome New Year 2023” by TAT. Committed to restoring hope and happiness in the hearts of Thai people. And giving thanks to tourism entrepreneurs in Thailand who stand by our side and are an important force in revitalizing the economy through tourism through 2022, and thanks to the Thai people for being good hosts to welcome tourists with Thai hospitality. both indicating that they are about to enter the second year of the Thai Tourism 2023 or Visit Thailand 2023: Amazing New Chapters.

The Amazing Thailand Countdown 2023 event TAT has created the area near
Wat Pho Pier to be an area that delivers happiness with a beautiful location along the
Chao Phraya River stretching across the front of Phra Prang, Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahaviharn, an important landmark of Thailand. Entrepreneurs within the tourism industry and relevant travel partner agencies are invited to participate. The general public are able to attend activities at the event and along the banks of the Chao Phraya River on both sides.

At the event, the Tourism Authority of Thailand invites everyone to experience
the Soft Power of Thailand, a contemporary cultural performance, “Rung Aroon”, and enjoy the atmosphere of songs from national orchestras and many famous artists, including Boyd Kosiyabong, Nop Ponchamni, Tor Saksit, Jennifer Kim, Rudklao Amratisha, Kit the Voice, Moo the Voice, Jo the Voice, and Nick the Voice; and a special performance by inviting songs that His Majesty composed: “New Year Greetings” and “Near Dawn” before meeting the highlight of the Light Up Phra Prang of Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahaviharn.
